Wildlife Clubs of Seychelles will be a leading, grassroots, self-sustaining environmental organisation, dedicated to creating an environmentally conscious population in Seychelles. We provide opportunities for students and their leaders to learn about their environment, to participate in environmental action, and to be a force for positive change.
Wildlife Clubs of Seychelles (WCS) is a non-governmental organization established in 1994 to engage children and youth in conservation action. WCS currently has clubs in almost all schools in Seychelles and some 600+ members.
We offer a range of educational programmes, outreach support and leader training which is available for clubs and leaders. Presentations, field trips and activities on a range of different topics can be booked at the UCEE with Terence Vel.
Our projects are ongoing and curriculum based; though funding may be implemented during a set period of time, the materials and programmes created continue to be used, updated, and made available for clubs and teachers.
Wildlife Clubs of Seychelles have a variety of educational resources and publications available for leaders, students and anyone interested and which can be accessed on the Resources page of this website.
